Why have a resume?

Regardless of which college pathway you choose, a resume is good to have in your pocket as you apply for internships and jobs. When creating your resume, make sure to provide ALL relevant information from your time in high school.

A resume includes but isn’t limited to:

• Education: the school(s) you attend

• Employment: any position in which you received compensation ($$$)

• Volunteering: through school and community-based events

• Skills: language proficiency, computer/tech ability, talents, professional

• Awards: academic-based, athletic-based, creative-based, etc.
